New Here? Start Here
A Beginner's Guide to the Gospel
Maybe faith is brand new to you, or something you're just curious about. No pressure, no jargon — here's the heart of it in five simple steps.
You Were Made On Purpose
God created you, knows you completely, and loves you more than you can imagine. You are not an accident — you were made for a relationship with Him.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."John 3:16
Something Is Broken
All of us fall short — we hurt others, ourselves, and turn away from God. The Bible calls this sin, and it separates us from the relationship we were made for.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."Romans 3:23
Jesus Is the Way Back
God didn't leave us in the brokenness. Jesus — God's Son — lived the life we couldn't, died on the cross for our sin, and rose from the dead to bring us home.
"But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."Romans 5:8
It's a Gift — Just Receive It
You can't earn your way to God, and you don't have to. Trust Jesus, turn from the old way, and follow Him. That decision changes everything.
"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."Romans 10:9
Now Grow
Faith isn't meant to be lived alone. Talk to God daily (that's prayer — just be honest with Him), read the Bible (the Gospel of John is a great start), and find community.
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works... not neglecting to meet together."Hebrews 10:24-25
A Simple Prayer
"Jesus, I need you. Thank you for loving me as I am. I believe you died for me and rose again. Forgive me, lead me, and help me follow you from today on. Amen."
If you prayed that and meant it — welcome to the family. Tell someone! Use the form below and we'd love to celebrate with you and help you take the next step.

Pierce Pearson
Bethel Midtown
This is my church, Bethel Midtown! It's an Every Nation church, meaning that it is a part of a global missional effort to change the world through Gospel preaching, church planting, and campus ministry. Bethel Midtown is actively connected with several campuses in Nashville through the campus ministry ENC. Its head pastor Bryson Breakey is excited about helping all kinds of people come to know Jesus, the Son of God and fulfillment of all our needs.

Midtown Fellowship 12South
Attending 2+ years
I began attending Midtown Fellowship 12 South during my freshman year at Vanderbilt, and I haven't looked back since. As a new Christian, I had never truly felt like I had a church home, but Midtown changed that. From the beginning, I was welcomed into a genuine community that faithfully teaches God's Word and helps you deeply understand and live out the gospel. If you're looking for a church home, I'd love for you to come experience it with me! I think you'll find a place where you can belong, ask questions, and grow in your faith. Tag along with me this Sunday!

Midtown Fellowship 12South
9am service · Kidtown volunteer · happy to take you
I go to the 9am service at Midtown Fellowship in 12 South! Midtown is a Presbyterian (PCA) church, where everyone is welcome no matter where you are in your faith journey. Sermons are all focused on scripture, and the belief that the Bible is God's inerrant revelation written down for us because he loves us and wants us to know him. I am also a Kidtown volunteer, and would be happy to go to church with you!!
More of our team will be sharing their churches here soon.
